Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor set a thousand hearts aflutter with her flawless beauty and impressed the audience with her acting skills when she made her onscreen Bollywood debut in the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’ opposite newcomer Ishaan Khattar.

The daughter of yesteryear and late actress Sridevi and filmmaker-producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi charmed the audience with her natural persona and has been a rage on social media where she often shares photos and videos which often become the talk of the town.

And while Janhvi has been making waves in the industry with her lineup of films, there was a time when she expressed her admiration for her senior in the industry Anushka Sharma while speaking about the relation that the female actors share in Bollywood in a 2018 interview.

Getting candid on the couch of Famously Filmfare Season 2, in 2018, Janhvi spoke about several things including her experience of going through the biggest loss in her life i.e her mother’s death, picking herself up and resuming the shoot for her first film, changing dynamics of her equation with her half-siblings and more.

During the conversation, she also expressed her regard and adulation for actress Anushka Sharma whom she referred to as a ‘dignified person’, stating that her late mom Sridevi would call Anushka that.

On being asked if there are any actors that she really likes in terms of emulation and the way that they’ve conducted their careers, Janhvi said, “I feel like Anushka Sharma. She’s such a dignified person. Everyone is, including Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and all of them. But I don’t know, there is just something about her. Even mom would always tell me that she’s such a dignified person. And she never…I don’t know. She’s just very correct. I really like that about her.”
