I am suddenly having massive technical problems with both my desktop and laptop, so this will be short and sweet: a few weeks ago, I saw some random commentary where a random blogger was extolling the formula itself for Glass Shine, saying it was their perfect blend of balm/lipgloss/color payoff. Based on that alone I decided to try a color, and really did like the formula — it’s smooth and comfortable, with the staying power of a typical lipstick.

The color I chose is a bit odd though — I got “Glistening Grape,” which I do like, but it feels a bit far from an every day color.

I noticed readers saying how much they loved this particular color of Revlon’s Glass Shine the other day (I think in Wednesday’s Suit of the Week comment section) and decided to order it based on their recommendations alone. It hasn’t arrived yet, but part of the commentary from the readers was that they aren’t making more of the color… so if you’re among the fans, you should stock up! (And if you’re looking for a pinky peach lipstick with a bit of color, now might be the time to try this one.)
