Vicky Kaushal tests negative for COVID-19, thanks fans for ‘lovely wishes and messages’

Vicky Kaushal, on Friday evening, confirmed that he has tested negative for COVID-19. Vicky posted a picture on Instagram flashing a broad grin. He sports a beard and is dressed in a teal T-shirt. It seems he is standing at his balcony for the snapshot.

“Negative!” the actor wrote, with a hug emoji. On Instagram Stories, he shared a note against a grey background, “Tested negative today. Thank You for your lovely wishes and messages. My prayers for all who are recovering. Stay safe!”

Earlier this month, Vicky had tested COVID positive and shared that he was living under home quarantine and taking medication as prescribed.

Vicky had written, “Despite all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe.”

Over the past few weeks, a few celebrities have tested positive for coronavirus. Actors namely Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Alia Bhatt, and others are COVID-19 positive. Akshay was also hospitalised in Mumbai since he has been diagnosed. Before them, Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were also tested positive.

On the work front, Vicky’s next project is ‘Sam Bahadur’, a film based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, and ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, where he plays the titular revolutionary. He will also be seen in the films ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ and ‘Takht’ and has an untitled project with former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar.
