Southwest Airlines this fall will add Syracuse, N.Y., to its destination list and fully restore its international destination map, according to the carrier’s latest schedule update.

Service between Syracuse and Baltimore/Washington will begin three times per day on Nov. 14, with additional service on select Saturdays between Syracuse and Orlando, according to Southwest. Syracuse will be the 121st airport that Southwest serves.

Southwest will start new service to Bellingham, Wash., as well on Nov. 7, with one daily flight from Las Vegas and two daily flights from Oakland, Calif. Additional new nonstop domestic service scheduled for the fall includes flights between Sacramento and Palm Springs, Calif., starting Oct. 7 and service to Sarasota, Fla., from both Washington Reagan and New York LaGuardia and between Palm Springs and Dallas Love Field, all starting Nov. 7.

By Nov. 7, Southwest also plans to have flights to all international destinations that it served prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, though not all routes and frequencies will be restored. It will resume service between Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and each Nassau, Bahamas; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, on Oct. 7 and service from Fort Lauderdale to both Cancun, Mexico, and Montego Bay, Jamaica, on Nov. 7. The Grand Cayman route is dependent on travel restrictions lifting, according to Southwest. Service between Houston Hobby and Belize City, Belize, will resume on Nov. 7 as well.

In addition, Southwest plans to add new service to Cancun from both Chicago O’Hare and Kansas City in November, marking its first international flight from Kansas City. Other new international service scheduled to begin in November includes Saturday service between Denver and Liberia, Costa Rica, and Saturday service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, from both St. Louis and Buffalo/Niagara Falls, N.Y.
