After sweeping the comedy categories at last year’s Emmys, “Schitt’s Creek” continued its winning streak at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.
“Schitt’s Creek” won best TV comedy ensemble and star Catherine O’Hara took best comedy actress at the SAG Awards, a reimagined one-hour special that focused on actors and their craft rather than a usual live awards ceremony because of COVID-19. In other TV honors, Mark Ruffalo won for best actor in a limited series for HBO’s “I Know This Much Is True,” Anya Taylor-Joy took best actress for Netflix’s “The Queen’s Gambit,” and Jason Sudeikis snagged best comedy actor for “Ted Lasso.”
