Sabre through a new pilot program is providing offers using the International Air Transport Association’s New Distribution Capability standards through its GetThere booking tool, the company announced.

Through the program, GetThere is presenting NDC offers compliant with corporate travel policies alongside traditional content, and travel management companies using GetThere will have the capability to fulfill and service those bookings, according to Sabre. A Sabre spokesperson said the company could not yet provide details about the number of TMCs or corporate customers participating in the trial program.

Sabre also announced that has expanded availability of NDC content via Singapore Airlines’ KrisConnect program to more than 25 locations, with the newest locations including South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Sabre first made the offers available to agents based in Singapore in the second quarter of 2020.

In addition, Sabre has achieved NDC Level 4 certification as an IT provider, indicating its ability to support full offer and order management. It earned Level 4 certification as an aggregator last year.
