Ontario-based Travelpath and Stockholm-based Big Travel each have joined the newly launched One Global alliance of travel management companies, according to One Global. The alliance, a joint venture of U.S.-based World Travel and U.K.-based Clarity Business Travel first announced last month, was created as an alternative to TMC networks as a source for clients to cover global needs with a single technology platform but with market exclusivity for participating TMCs. Big Travel CEO and owner Fredrik Skarke said One Global’s OneHub suite of technology was its impetus in joining, and Travelpath president Christopher Gregg said it would provide a “long-term community partnership.
