Apartment-style accommodation provider Mint House has appointed former WeWork executive Christian Lee as CEO, effective immediately, the company announced Tuesday. 

Lee joins Mint House from transportation and shipping provider Transfix, where he served as CFO. Lee also has served as managing director of WeWork Asia and global chief financial officer of WeWork in New York.

Lee takes over for the company’s previous CEO and founder Will Lucas, who recruited Lee for the position, according to the company. Lucas will remain chairman of the board with the company. 

“Over the last two years I have built a great relationship with Christian, and believe he is the perfect leader to continue to expand our geographic footprint and bring the Mint House experience to more travelers around the country,” Lucas said.
