New low-cost carrier Breeze has expanded to two new airports—New York’s Long Island MacArthur Airport (formerly Islip Airport) and Palm Beach International Airport—and has added eight new routes to and from these markets, the carrier announced.

On Feb. 17, Breeze commenced four weekly roundtrip flights between Islip and Norfolk, Va., operating on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. On Feb. 18, the airline introduced three weekly roundtrips between Islip and Charleston, S.C., on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Beginning in May, it will add a fourth flight on Thursdays. On Feb. 19, the carrier began Saturday-only roundtrip flights between Palm Beach and six destinations: Akron/Canton and Columbus in Ohio; Charleston, S.C.; New Orleans, and Norfolk and Richmond in Virginia.

The two new locations are the carrier’s 17th and 18th since it launched in May 2021, and the new routes bring its network total to 42, according to the company.

In addition, Breeze last week announced it would establish a base at Harford’s Bradley International Airport, its fifth base of operations. It plans to announce in March eight new destinations served through that airport.
