It has been tough times for Hina Khan as the actor lost her father. While she was coping with the death of her father, the actor got texted positive for coronavirus. During a recent interaction, Hina revealed the message she received from Priyanka Chopra Jonas. A few years back, PeeCee also lost her father after a prolonged disease. Khan called it special and heart-touching.

Hina told Miss Malini, “Priyanka Chopra is such a busy woman and entrepreneur. She sent me a text message after my father’s death. And such a long message… because she understands what it means to lose your father. That was really special and heart-touching.”

Earlier during an interaction with Hindustan Times, Hina opened up on her father’s death stating, “I am not in a state of mind to speak. The more you think about it, the more it pains. I don’t feel like doing anything or interacting with anyone. I will take time and I want to take that time, though some work commitments can’t be deferred.”

On getting COVID-19 positive, Hina said in an Instagram chat, “I am fine, but I think, while returning from Srinagar, I did not really take any precautions. I was not in a state of mind, which is why whatever happened, happened. But thank god, my family tested negative. I know I did not take precautions while coming back and it resulted in me testing positive. But that is okay, I am pretty okay now, I have tested negative.”
