Hilton to Offer Meeting Clients Covid-19 Testing Information

Hilton Worldwide this month will begin offering through its EventReady Playbook information on third-party Covid-19 testing and health screening providers to meeting planners who book or have booked an event at any U.S. Hilton, the company announced. 

Hilton is not involved in the transaction or administering of the tests, said a company spokesperson. The added resources include third-party providers for handheld temperature check devices, personal health screening checklists, Covid-19 self-testing options and Covid-19 same-day onsite testing. Included providers of rapid and PCR testing based on event size include Impact Health, Vault Health and SalivaDirect. 

The EventReady Playbook is part of the company’s EventReady with CleanStay global cleanliness and client service program for meetings and events. The third-party suppliers will be listed in the wellness section of the playbook, according to Hilton.

“As more customers book in-person meetings and events, there has been a steady increase in requests and questions around Covid-19 testing and screening options for event attendees,” said Hilton SVP of worldwide sales for the Americas Frank Passanante in a statement. “In response, we expanded resources within our Hilton EventReady Playbook to include third-party providers that can deliver a seamless experience and offer preferential pricing to our event planners.”

In January, Hilton expanded the EventReady program to offer hybrid meeting solutions.
