Hatoful Boyfriend, the distinctive bird-based dating sim from developer Hato Moa, will be removed from the App Store, the Google Play Store, and the PlayStation Store later this month. It’s getting dumped.
The game’s removal is due to its publishing agreement with Devolver Digital coming to an end. Theoretically, it could return under a new publisher, but Hato Moa hasn’t indicated whether or not a new deal is in the pipeline.
The good news is that anybody who bought Hatoful Boyfriend while it was available will continue to own it. That means you’ve got about a week, max, if you want the game in your library.
For the uninitiated, Hatoful Boyfriend sees you playing as the only human student at St. PigeoNation’s Institute – a school for gifted birds in a post-apocalyptic wasteland brought about by an avian flu pandemic.
