Dallas-based in-person event production firm Freeman this month announced a partnership with virtual events platform Hubilo to provide digital components for Freeman events. The partnership offers Freeman clients a scalable service for virtual and online events, Freeman president and COO Janet Dell said in a statement. 

Hubilo is among several virtual event platforms that have caught the eye of VC investors. Last October, Hubilo raised $125 million in Series B funding; seven months before, it had raised $23.5 million in Series A funding.
