Producer Ahmed Khan may step into Saroj Khan’s shoes to direct some of the songs of Chaalbaaz in London. A source close to the unit informs that Ahmed may choreograph some of the songs of the film which is likely to have almost all the songs that were in the original film that starred Sridevi out of which most of them were choreographed by Saroj Khan.

Chaalbaaz had some songs like Naa Jaane Kaha Se Aaaye Hun, Tera Bemar Mera Dil, Bhoot Raja Bahar Aa Jaa and Socha Tha Kya Ho gaya. The songs were composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and written by Anand Bakshi.

Ahmed in one of his tributes to the late Saroj Khan had said that Saroj Khan had held his finger and introduced him to the film world. After Saroj Khan’s demise, Ahmed had told E Times, “She was impressed with my dancing skills as a child actor in Mr. India. I was just 11 years old then. When I turned 16, I told my mother that I wanted to try my hand at movies and she introduced me to her good friend Saroj ji. I worked with her as an assistant and later after 4 years I got Rangeela.”

‘ChaalBaaz in London’ could be a perfect tribute by Ahmed Khan to his mentor Saroj Khan through the songs he may choreograph for the film.
