Etihad Airways beginning February 2023 plans to add another
weekly frequency to its Abu Dhabi-Shanghai route, using Boeing 787 and 777
aircraft, the carrier announced Tuesday. That doubles the number of weekly
flights on the route. Combined with weekly service to Beijing and twice-weekly
service to Guangzhou, Etihad will fly five weekly nonstop flights between Abu
Dhabi and China. The added Shanghai route is subject to regulatory approval.
