DigiTravel Adds Execs, Expands Geographic Reach

Managed travel consultancy DigiTravel Consulting has hired several executives including country heads in Canada and India, representing an expansion of the company’s services, the company announced Tuesday.

DigiTravel has added former WestJet Airlines director of corporate and strategic sales John Pease as vice president of the firm’s aviation group and as the DigiTravel leader in Canada. The company also added Jyothi Varma, a former executive with the Association of Corporate Travel Executives, as DigiTravel vice president of India. The consulting firm also added former BWH Hotel Group director of global business travel and strategic partnerships Scott Thompson as vice president of the firm’s lodging practice.

DigiTravel also named VP of consulting Greeley Koch as a managing partner of the firm. Koch, formerly the executive director and CEO of ACTE, joined DigiTravel in 2020.

DigiTravel managing partner Susan Lichtenstein in a statement said the moves were made in anticipation of a global resurgence in business travel.
