CWT Names Core Leadership for Customer Team

CWT has appointed the core leadership for its global customer team, part of a structure announced last year that separates customer and travel experience.

The six-executive team, led by EVP and chief customer officer Nick Vournakis, will be in charge of growing CWT’s global customer base and “delivering greater client efficiencies, value offerings and personalization this year and beyond,” according to Vournakis. It includes:

  • Ian Cummings, who heads up CWT Meetings & Events
  • VP of customer effectiveness Robin Handley, who will lead efforts on customer growth and retention
  • Gregory Harkins, who leads CWT’s unit focusing on government and defense industry customers
  • Tammy Morgan, who will be in charge of CWT’s regional key accounts
  • Raphael Pasdeloup, who took responsibility for CWT’s Enterprise Customers organization following Vournakis’ promotion
  • Darren Toohey, who leads CWT’s global sales and customer retention

CWT’s new management structure establishing customer and traveler experience as distinct functions came after a financial recapitalization process that included a prepackaged Chapter 11 filing completed last year.Derek Sharp, formerly COO for CWT’s Roomit hotel platform, is Vournakis’ counterpart as chief travel experience officer.
