Convene has promoted global chief operating and people officer Amy Pooser to president and global COO, the meeting and co-working space provider announced Monday. 

Pooser joined Convene in 2019. The company in a statement said she was “instrumental in the evolution” of its Convene Studio virtual and hybrid product, and is charged with oversight of operations. She reports to CEO and co-founder Ryan Simonetti. 

The company last month named Cliff Ryan, former director of sales and business development for meetings management tech firm Cvent, as its head of sales and former Best Buy executive Larisa Summers as chief marketing officer.
