Areka Consulting has added Michael Silvey as VP of consulting for the Americas region, effective immediately. In the new role, he will work with travel buyers to drive stakeholder engagement, according to the company. Silvey comes to the role with over 20 years of experience in the business travel industry, having served most recently as director of global program management for the energy, marine and oil sector at BCD Travel. Prior to serving as director, he was head of practice area lead in traveler engagement and demand management at BCD consulting unit Advito.
