Yami Gautam recently opened up about what the past year has taught her during the lockdown and what the world might look like post-COVID-19.

Yami reportedly feels that the year 2020 and the lockdown has grounded her in more ways than one. It also reaffirmed her belief that one’s family is one’s biggest strength. As there was so much uncertainty, she just wanted to be with her family at home. However, the actress was stuck in Mumbai during the peak of COVID-19. According to Yami, solitude is the biggest punishment for a human being. Elaborating further, the actress also added that she realised the importance of being patient, trusting the greater plan, believe that we will sail through it and that everything will work out.

Talking about the post COVID world, Yami reportedly hopes that people continue to focus on cleanliness and hygiene. According to her, the pandemic made us realise the importance of it all, and many people had to relearn something as basic as how to maintain personal hygiene. The actress also added that it is not just about keeping yourself germ-free but also ensuring that our surroundings are clean too.

On the work front, she will next be seen in ‘Bhoot Police’ co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
