As an elder millennial, it’s impossible for me to see a jacket like this one without humming the Cake song from the early aughts, but I do think this long blazer from Nic + Zoe would be an incredibly versatile business casual piece. OK fine, I probably wouldn’t pair it with a short skirt, but I think we can all agree that it would go beautifully with a pair of slim-fitting trousers or even layered over a pair of dark skinny jeans. (And fingernails that shine like justice are always in style.)

To my eye, the knit fabric skews a bit more casual, so I would probably keep this to a business casual or casual setting.

The jacket is $148 at Nordstrom and comes in sizes XS–XL. It’s also available in a handful of lucky petite sizes, although they’re inexplicably $10 more. Sizes are selling out quickly, so try Bloomingdale’s, which has more available, including plus.
