United Airlines announced 12 new corporate participants in the carrier’s Eco-Skies Alliance program to collectively contribute toward the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel.

New participants include American Family Insurance, Biogen, Bolloré Logistics, travel management company CWT, Maersk, Meta (formerly Facebook), Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Salesforce, Visa, Yusen Logistics and Zurich North America, bringing the program total to nearly 30 companies.

The carrier launched the program in April 2021 and has contributed toward the purchase of more than 7 million gallons of SAF to date, according to United, more than twice the amount it anticipated purchasing when the program was announced.
