Inbound international travelers who want to use a mobile app for entry to the United States as of Feb. 1 will be able to use only the Mobile Passport Control app, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced. Other apps, including Airside Mobile and Clear MPC, no longer will be an authorized app for entry after that date, according to CBP. The app enables travelers to create a profile with their passport and personal identification information and, upon arrival in the United States, can answer CBP inspection questions and receive a QR-coded receipt for quicker processing.
