Calling it the “next evolution of our partnership,” International SOS announced Wednesday a deeper integration with off-channel booking data aggregator Traxo that eliminates steps required from travelers to communicate their trip itineraries. The integration will deliver real-time transmission of all travel itinerary data at the time of booking to ISOS, including off-channel bookings collected from Traxo, according to the company. 

According to ISOS, Traxo is able to collect data from a clients’ various travel management companies and consolidate that data with off-channel bookings, sending it to ISOS in a single data feed. The Traxo technology also will capture trip cancellations and modifications and display consolidated data in client dashboard and reporting tools. 

The Covid-19 pandemic revealed for many companies imperfections in travel data-capture and transmission systems set up between corporates and their risk management programs. Off-channel bookings as well as modified and canceled trips were particularly vexing in the traveler location, domestic return and international repatriation processes at the onset of the pandemic.
