‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ set to go off air?

Must Read

While adapting to the ‘new normal’ amid the coronavirus lockdown, The Kapil Sharma Show team resumed the shoot and the talk show went on air. It garnered high TRP ratings during weekends with several guests from old shows, upcoming movies, shows and more marked their presence. The only change made during the shoot was about the live audience as they weren’t allowed anymore. Now, the latest reports suggest that after many months, The Kapil Sharma Show is set to go off the air.

As per reports in TellyChakkar, TKSS will go off air soon and is likely to return with a new season. This news may shock the viewers as many people are glued to television sets during the weekend. Meanwhile, Kapil is all set to make his digital debut with a Netflix original and the announcement was made earlier this year.

He wrote on his Instagram page, “This is the auspicious news. Don’t believe rumours guys, only, believe me, I’m coming to @netflix_in. Soon!”

In a statement, Kapil had said, “I am super excited for my first-ever association with Netflix. 2020 has been a bumpy ride for everyone around the world and my motive is to make people forget their worries and welcome this new year with love, laughter and positivity. I always wanted to be on Netflix but I didn’t have their number (hahaha). It’s a project close to my heart and I cannot wait to share more details with my fans soon.”

However, The Kapil Sharma Show fans will definitely wait for the comedian to come back with a new season.
