Corporate travel platform Rocketrip has added functionality
from Sherpa and Thrust Carbon to its product, the company announced Wednesday.
The former makes available Covid-19-related safety
information as part of its online booking tool search results. The information covers
current restrictions, documentation requirements, mask usage, quarantine policy
and other information relevant for upcoming business trips. The latter adds
carbon emission data to the platform, along with the ability for travel
managers to use the savings from their Rocketrip programs to offset the carbon
emissions from their corporate travel programs.
In addition, Kim Andreello has joined the company as general
manager. He will continue to be president of Avia Travel Services, which is
part of Rocketrip’s parent company Mondee. He will be based in Florida.
