Global distribution system provider Travelport and Qatar Airways have signed a new multi-year distribution agreement, the carriers announced Thursday. The expanded agreement for the first time will include New Distribution Capability content, according to the company, as well as advanced travel merchandizing solutions, delivered via the Travelport Plus platform. The contract also includes the use of Travelport’s rich content and branding solution, which can provide travel agents with graphically rich images and descriptions on fares and ancillaries.
