The Monster Hunter Rise demo is available for a limited time only on the Nintendo Switch. The demo includes four different quests, including two tutorials and two hunts against large monsters Great Izuchi and Mizutsune. Monster Hunter Rise Demo Time Availability

The Monster Hunter Rise demo became available on January 7th. It will be available to download until February 1st at 12 a.m. Pacific Time / 3 a.m. eastern time in the US.

After this time, you will no longer be able to download the demo or play online. However, you will be able to continue playing offline single-player and local multiplayer as long as you have quests available – details below – Monster Hunter Rise Demo Play Limit

Monster Hunter Rise Demo Bonuses

Playing the Monster Hunter Rise demo will earn you items in the full game once it is released on March 26th 2021. You don’t have to complete all the quests, just play at least once, and make sure to keep saved data.

The following is what is included in the bonus item pack:

  • 20 Mega potions (used to heal a good deal of Health)
  • 5 Pitfall traps (used to capture monsters
  • 10 Energy Drinks (prevents the Sleep Status – will be useful against the Great Baggi)
  • 5 Mega Demondrug (large attack buff)
  • 5 Mega Armorskins (large defense buff)

Monster Hunter Rise Demo Play Limit

The tutorial Quests, the Basic Training Quest, and Wyvern Riding Training Quest are unlimited. However, the Quest for Great Izuchi and Mizutsune can only be played a total of 30 times between them.

Once this limit has been reached, all four quests, including the tutorial Quest, will no longer be available. However, there is a way to “cheat” this rule.

You can easily reset your demo limit by deleting the save data for the Monster Hunter Rise demo. Here’s how to delete that Monster Hunter Rise save data.

  1. Go to system settings in the main menu.
  2. Scroll down to data management.
  3. Choose delete save data at the bottom. You will find the option to delete the save data for the Monster Hunter Rise demo.

Just make sure to play it at least one more time so you can collect the bonus items!
