Tonight, UFC 260 takes place at the UFC Apex. A heavyweight title fight rematch headlines the pay-per-view fight card. In that contest, heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic puts his title on the line against Francis Ngannou. The two first met in January 2018. Miocic won that fight by decision to become the first UFC heavyweight champion to defend the title three consecutive times.

The first meeting between these two was fairly one-sided. In that matchup, Miocic used his wrestling skills to mute the power of his opponent. Miocic scored six takedowns during the 25-minute fight and racked up over 15 minutes of control time. He also limited Ngannou to 21 landed significant strikes, which equated to a success rate of just 18 percent. Miocic landed 70 significant strikes, which converted to a 73 percent success rate.

Ngannou has won his past four fights by knockout. All of those stoppages took place in the first round.

Miocic lost the title to Daniel Cormier after his win over Ngannou. He regained the belt in a 2019 rematch and then defended the title against Cormier in a 2020 trilogy bout.

UFC 260 takes place Saturday. The pay-per-view card streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+ and early prelims on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.

After the event, the main event competitors as well as other fighters from the PPV portion of the card are scheduled to take part in the post-fight press conference, which can be streamed live below. The post-fight even is scheduled to begin at 1:15 a.m.
