All-business-class carrier La Compagnie has resumed service to Paris and will add new routes to Tel Aviv and Milan later this year, the carrier announced.

Following more than a year of suspended service, La Compagnie on June 12 began two weekly flights between Newark Liberty International Airport and Paris Orly Airport, coinciding with the easing of restrictions for vaccinated travelers from the United States to France. Frequencies gradually will increase in the coming months, with four weekly flights in July, five weekly flights in August and daily flights in September.

The first four flights to Paris sold out completely, according to La Compagnie.

On July 2, La Compagnie will resume seasonal service between Newark and Nice, with three weekly flights until the end of September. New service from Newark to Tel Aviv, with a 90-minute stop in Paris, will operate three times a week from July 21 through Oct. 30. New direct service between Newark and Milan will begin Nov. 29, with four flights per week.

“In a post-Covid-19 era, we anticipate a lower demand on our New York- Paris route,” La Compagnie president Christian Vernet said in a statement. “Therefore, we need to diversify our destinations offering and look for alternative routes for our second aircraft. Nice and Tel Aviv are a great combination for the summer season, and Milan is a strong long-term route with a balanced mix of business and leisure passengers traveling throughout the year.”
