KLM Service to Las Vegas, Miami to Begin in December

KLM is “un-canceling” its service to Las Vegas and Miami this winter, with service to both cities from Amsterdam set to start on Dec. 7.

Earlier this month, KLM scrapped plans to start service to both cities on Oct. 31 as the Dutch government designated the United States a “very high-risk area” and added 10-day quarantine requirements even for travelers from the U.S. vaccinated against Covid-19. The Netherlands dropped those requirements two weeks later, however, and coupled with the announcement that the U.S. starting in November would let in vaccinated international visitors, KLM reversed its decision. The carrier will fly three flights per week to each city.

KLM additionally is adding four new destinations to its schedule this winter: Cancun, Mexico; Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Bridgetown, Barbados; and Mombasa, Kenya.
