Ohio-based private aviation company Jet Edge International has raised an additional $75 million from investment firm KKR, following an initial $150 million credit facility from June 2021 and further investments, the airline announced. The latest funding brings KKR’s total investment to about $265 million over the past year.

The funding has allowed the company to purchase 20 additional Gulfsteam and Challenger aircraft, slated to be delivered in the first half of 2022. That will bring Jet Edge’s total fleet to 95, after 27 planes were delivered in 2021.

Jet Edge told BTN in an email that its charter business is almost evenly split between corporate managed travel and personal travel.

The aircraft are available in Tokyo, Hong Kong and throughout the United States.
