The NCAA coaching carousel continued to turn Monday when Iowa State announced it was parting ways with coach Steve Prohm.

The school announced it on its Website and said athletic director Jamie Pollard would comment further Tuesday. Prohm reportedly had a $5 million buyout.

Prohm, 48, went 97-85 in six seasons with the Cyclones, but his 2020-21 club was 2-22 overall. Prohm led Iowa State to three NCAA Tournament berths and two Big 12 Tournament Championships in his tenure.

Earlier Monday, Indiana and Minnesota of the Big Ten and DePaul of the Big East also parted ways with their coaches, while Boston College of the ACC and Penn State of the Big Ten announced coaching hires.
