Aditya Narayan who hosts Indian Idol 12 was missing from the recent episodes. The singer was replaced by Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. This led to reports that Aditya has quit the reality show as the host and the comedians’ couple has taken over. However, that’s not the case, the singer took to his Instagram page and revealed that he suffered an injury on his calf due to which he was absent.

Aditya shared a photo of his right leg plastered and showing thumbs while posing. He wrote, “Hey! Unfortunately, I was out of action due to a gastrocnemius tear in my right calf. My sincere gratitude to friends like family @bharti.laughterqueen @haarshlimbachiyaa30 for taking over the coveted #IndianIdol stage. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the two episodes. I am back this week. Rejoice!”

Meanwhile, Aditya recently tied the knot with Shweta Agarwal after a courtship of nearly a decade. The couple’s wedding was the talk of the town and the photos became instantly viral on the Internet.

After their wedding, Aditya and Shweta headed to Kashmir for their honeymoon before he resumed shooting for Indian Idol 12.

On completing a month of marital bliss, Aditya had earlier told the Times of India, “It feels great. I still can’t believe that we are married, honestly. We have nicely settled in now. It took us a good one month. But this will only be for another four months as we move into our new apartment.”
