Regional U.S. carrier Cape Air president Linda Markham will assume the role of CEO on Jan. 1, when founding CEO Dan Wolf steps down from the position, the carrier announced. Markham has been with Hyannis, Mass.-based Cape Air since 2002 and since 2013 has served as its president, a role she will keep when she takes the CEO role. Markham will be the only female CEO of a major or regional carrier in the United States, according to Cape Air.
