BTS’s BE rockets back into the Billboard 200’s Top 10 this week thanks to its “Essential Edition” re-release. This week’s sales come predominantly from CDs, and the album consequently returns to No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart for a third week, making BE the longest-running BTS album atop the chart.

The Korean pop septet’s latest album leaps 67 spots on the Billboard 200 to land at No. 7 this week with 36,000 album-equivalent units, a 254% increase over last week. That includes 28,000 album sales, a whopping 888% bump over last week. Album sales were juiced by the release of BE (Essential Edition), which included a CD copy of the album, 140-page photobook, two different types of photocards and a poster. The set retailed for approximately $30.

BE debuted atop the Billboard 200 last November with 242,000 equivalent units, including 177,000 pure sales. It marked BTS’s fifth No. 1 album on the chart and made them the fastest group to earn five U.S. chart-toppers since the Beatles. It also spawned two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On,” the former of which shattered numerous sales and streaming records and earned the group its first Grammy nomination, for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

This week’s supercharged sales bring BE’s total sales to 535,000 units since its release, according to Chart Data. The album technically surpassed 500,000 units back in December with help from the pre-release sales of “Dynamite,” which exceeded 2 million and thus added 200,000 units to the album’s sales total. But BE has now sold half a million copies independently of the pre-release boost from its biggest single.

“Dynamite” also enjoys a hefty sales bump this week, returning to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. It has now spent 13 weeks atop the chart and is tied for the third-longest-running No. 1 hit in Digital Song Sales chart history. BTS performed the smash hit, along with several other BE tracks, during their MTV Unplugged special last Tuesday.
