On Sunday, the makers of Pushpa revealed that they will be announcing the villain of Allu Arjun directorial. Soon after that, they dropped a major surprised and unveiled the villain of Pushpa much to the excitement of the fans. It’s none other than Malayalam heartthrob Fahadh Faasil. With this film, the actor will be making his Telugu debut and people can’t stop sharing their excitement on social media pages.
While making the announcement, the official Twitter page of Pushpa wrote, “Welcoming #FahadhFaasil on board for the biggest face-off @alluarjun @iamRashmika @aryasukku @ThisIsDSP @MythriOfficial #VillainOfPushpa #Pushpa పుష్ప പുഷ്പ புஷ்பா ಪುಷ್ಪ पुष्पा.”

Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay and Sunil as supporting roles.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil has a National Award and four Kerala State Film Awards to his credit. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers along with Muttamsetty Media welcomed the Chaappa Kurishu actor on board.
In a statement, Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar told IANS, “Fahadh Faasil has entertained viewers with varied films and earned tremendous acclaim along with it. It makes us very happy to welcome him into the world of Pushpa. We are confident that his portrayal of the villain will engage viewers in a way that’s unique to his delivery of performance.”
Pushpa marks Allu Arjun’s reunion with director Sukumar and music maestro Devi Sri Prasad. The trio has earlier delivered two blockbusters Arya and Arya 2.
The film is slated to release pan-India on August 13, 2021.
