Air Canada to Rebuild South American Network

Air Canada over the coming months will resume service on several routes to South America, the carrier announced.

Service from Montreal to Bogotá will resume on Dec. 2 with three weekly flights, and service from Montreal to São Paulo will resume on Dec. 8 with four weekly flights. Air Canada also will expand current service from Toronto to both cities, increasing to four flights a week to Bogotá on Nov. 7 and to daily service to São Paulo on Dec. 6.

In January, Air Canada will restart service between Toronto and Santiago, with three weekly flights.

Pending government approval, Air Canada will resume service to Buenos Aires via São Paulo in the coming months. Argentina plans to reopen to international visitors on Nov. 1, according to Air Canada.
