The rising cases of COVID-19 in Maharashtra and the lockdown-like restrictions imposed by the Government here have forced many filmmakers to shift their shooting set-up out of the state. The recent one to look for other options was Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’.

According to the latest buzz, Om, along with his team, is contemplating shifting their shooting base to Hyderabad from Maharashtra. The team has already completed 60 days of shooting and they have about 90 more days of work remaining. Most of the shooting will reportedly be done indoors as the film is VFX-heavy. If everything works out, the team will be Hyderabad-bound by May 15.

The shooting of the film started at a studio in Mumbai. The team was to resume shooting in Mumbai again after a few weeks’ break. However, the junta curfew and lockdown-like restrictions in Maharashtra forced Raut to look for other options.

All eyes are on the filmmaker after the super success of his last film, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ which made a record-breaking collection at the box-office last year. The movie starred Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in lead roles.

Meanwhile, apart from this, While Prabhas has films like, ‘Salaar’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and Nag Ashwin’s next with Deepika Padukone in his pipeline, Kriti has ‘Mimi’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and Dinesh Vijan’s next with Rajkummar Rao in her kitty. Saif, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Bhoot Police’ co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
