Accor this month will begin offering guests and meeting attendees of properties in the U.S. and Canada Covid-19 tests for pre-trip or onsite testing, the company announced Friday.

Accor partnered with health-care technology firm X.labs to provide the tests. Guests can obtain PCR tests from X.labs before their stay, then return a self-collected sample to X.labs and receive results within 48 hours, according to Accor. Guests who order the testing kit through a co-branded Accor and X.labs website can receive the kit at no charge, or they can purchase it directly from X.labs, according to the company.

Accor also will provide meeting planners with the ability to have attendees tested before their events, the company said, and planner can set up specific requirements for attendance including a negative result. Planners also can order antigen tests through X.labs for onsite attendee Covid-19 testing, but must arrange with a local medical professional to administer the tests, according to Accor.
